To keep consistant with our promise to always bring you new and innovative ideas for entertaining and party styling our have come up with “CGE’s Top 3″. This will be a weekly feature highlighting 3 products, venues, recipies, etc that we feel are TOP NOTCH! We are so excited about this new feature!
For the 1st “CGE’s Top 3″ we are featuring party themes for boys!
THEME #3: SUPER HERO PARTY
The use of bright primary colors in this theme really makes all the details “POP”! You can customize the invitation with your little hero’s name and favorite character. Using cardboard boxes, paint and construction paper you can create your very own city skyline and skyscraper backdrop.
Serve HERO sandwiches and cupcakes with bright colored frosting to a PUNCH! You can photo shop a picture of your super hero and have it blown up for the candy table. Capes and masks would make excellent party favors for guests.
THEME #2: TAKE FLIGHT
We love to see kids flying to new heights, why not bring this to life at your boy’s next celebration? The cool hues of blue and earth green tones are the perfect compliment to any bright yellow or orange. You can create a pennant (like the one pictured) by cutting a map into triangles and threading yarn or twine through punched holes.
Turn your table into a runway with masking tape. Cotton candy could be served as “clouds” in fun colors like blue, white and orange. Here’s a great site for fun flavors and cool colors: Tasty Clouds . Stripes and polka dots are great accent prints for an aviation party.
THEME #1 : iMAC
This is by far the most unique theme for a boy’s party I’ve come across in a long time. We live in a world where technology is almost as important as air! Apple is one the most recognizable brands for innovation and creative of their products and this theme holds true to that.
The clean color palatte of black and white, with accents of gray and shades of blue create an ageless feel for this party.
The iPod cookies and iPad cupackes are too adorable! The electric blue jello shooters are a great add as well!
