Fall is well under way, and Mother Nature has her hands full with an early snowfall. It was breathtaking to look out at the freshly fallen snow, covering the fallen tree branches on the ground. Taking in this scene, brought to mind so many ideas for adding rustic elements to parties, home decor, etc.
I am not an outdoorsy woman ; by now I’m sure you are well aware that I enjoy things on the chic and glamorous side! But, I am always up for a challenge! How can rustic details combine favorably with chic and glamorous designs?
First things first, what does “rustic” mean? Woodsy, natural/neutral and minimalist. You can find rustic inspiration right outside your front or back door. Tree branches, burlap, simple foliage.

One of the best things about rustic elements is that they are so versatile. No matter what your signature style may be, I am sure you are able to take a bit of rustic appeal and make it all your own.
