Happy Monday! I hope you enjoyed your weekend. I had an uber busy one, from a book signing with my favorite sweets stylist and Sunday brunch with some fab and fun local event planners. About a month or so ago I recommeded that you pre-order Amy Atlas’ debut book, Sweet Designs.
If you took my advice, I’m sure you will agree that the book is phenominal! Full of recipes, crafting DIY’s and event planning tips, this book will definately become a staple in your home/office library. This past Saturday, Williams - Sonoma of King of Prussia hosted the 3rd stop on Amy’s Sweet Designs book tour. I was beyond excited to meet and greet with one of my biggest inspirations in event planning and party styling.
The “Picnic in the Park” theme was perfect for the signing with BBQ season getting started many people are planning to host picnics in the near future. Amy, went through the details of the table, gave out tips, guidelines and offered some advice during the discussion time.
For brunch we met at CAKE, a greenhouse turned restaurant in the heart of the Chestnut Hill neigborhood of Philly. The food was delicious and the atmosphere warm and inviting! CAKE is defiinately on the CarterGirl Approved list!
